ALL MEN are created EQUAL.
UNALIENABLE RIGHTS.
Life. LIBERTY. Pursuit of Happiness.
EQUAL.
RIGHTS.
LIBERTY.
These words, this concept… They shook the world.
These were bold men, some of the few through the history of the world ever to have experienced FREEDOM. When it was threatened, they were unwilling to relinquish it.
Why did this idea, the notion of equality and rights inherent to all, so shake the foundations of rulers and subjects, governments and civilians, masters and slaves, across the world?
Why?
The notion of equality and rights was utter system shock.
For the whole of human history, there have been rulers, and there have been subjects – two distinct classes, separate and different – never equal.
Humanity tends toward herd mentality, tribalism, alphas and betas, leaders and followers. Rulers have simply exploited this nature for millennia, carefully ensuring that those alpha men among the general populace were dutifully controlled and directed, or outright eliminated if too troublesome, and orchestrating the masses of followers to obey either through coercion and convincing of the benevolence of their rulers or by sheer force and fear.
These ruling classes across the world and through time, almost without exception, do not regard themselves as “public servants.” They do not hold their subjects in esteem as equals to whom they are charged with the duty to protect.
These rulers, masters, governments, “elites,” if you will… No, they do not regard themselves as your equal. They do not even consider themselves your rulers, or your masters, or your owners. They stand firmly upon a pedestal that elevates themselves to the level of God Himself.
And as for you, their subjects, their populace. You, they do not grant even a similar value that you grant your own cattle, or so much as your own tool, or even an unnoticed wild animal at the other side of the world.
No, their great and exclusive club regards everyone and everything outside themselves – even one another – as mere disposable commodities. Every life and every resource is and expendable and replaceable literal piece of garbage to be used and discarded. You are no more to them than a used paper plate at the end of a cookout. Meaningless. Existing only for their comfort, pleasure, and convenience.
There is something to be said for the parallel between the way they view us, and the level of disposable consumerism which has been partially developed through our prosperity and partially fabricated by design. Look at the way we acquire, consume, and discard. Possessions. Clothing. Food. Containers. Water in plastic bottles. Vehicles. Pets. Relationships. Marriages. Values. Even God.
The way so many of us have been trained to think about material items, all the way up to animals, people, and even God Himself… This is how the ruling class thinks about every single one of us. We are nothing. We are trash.
So this idea held by the Founders that many of us esteem, this American ideal of Liberty, of Equality, of Rights… It shook the world to its core.
When America stood and fought for such an idea, nations of people were shaken to the realization that they too, were equal, were human, as they were created.
When America stood in defiance of oppression, use, and disposal… Every ruling family stood shell shocked and disgusted.
The concept that the garbage would deign to consider itself equal to their godhood was abhorrent and detestable. We were an aberration. How dare we consider God and the natural order to be their superior. How dare we consider ourselves equal to them.
Our notion of Liberty threatened their power and pleasure. It is why they must eliminate us. It is why they have waged war against the word of Christ for so many centuries – because the TRUE word of God is Freedom, Equality, Natural Rights, commitment to values and service to God above human masters.
Their war upon God has waged for millennia. Their war upon America has waged since we dared to assert our inherent Liberty.
They have never surrendered… and they never will. They are determined to take out the trash.
But their delusions and perversions have begun to come under the light. The sleeping lion has awakened. God will not be mocked. The Spirit of Liberty will not die. The Brush Fires of Freedom will not be extinguished.
The storm has indeed arrived – and that storm is We the People in the full armor of God.
God wins.
