Needs: Know It or Know Someone

Know It or Know Someone

“Freedom” is the opportunity to be responsible for yourself.

David Gerrold

Independent = Not Dependent

Know your needs, know the skills, know the people: Know it, or know someone.
Seek needed goods and services as physically near yourself as possible, within your local community.

“Right to Life” = The right to secure all that you need for Life, without interference.

You do not have to be an expert on everything, live off grid, and sew all your own clothes from the wool you sheared off your own sheep (unless you want to)…

But you should know how to NOT DIE!

What are your “Needs?”

  • Food/Water
  • Health
  • Skills: Life, Survival, Traditional
  • Shelter
  • Defense
  • Goods, Services, & Business
  • Caring for family & property
  • Travel
  • Spiritual
  • Education

If you have to ask permission for ANY of this, you are not free.

You have a right to Life – you have a right to all of these things inherent and necessary to life – that is, you have a right to secure all of these for yourself without interference, AND to defend against any threat to them.
Equally, freedom means you have the responsibility to secure all of these for yourself – without being tended by the state at the expense of your neighbor by stealing from them to fund it.

You do not have the natural right to slave labor, which is what you are advocating for if you are demanding food, housing, healthcare, and other life-sustaining goods and services to be given to you for free… Liberty can only be liberty if everyone possesses it, and so the only possible meaningful definition of liberty is that it is liberty from the interference of others—including the state.
